lightdisc ceiling/wall lamp designed by alberto meda & paolo rizzatto for luceplan. a plastic luminous disc, particularly well adapted to the latest generation of slim, circular fluorescent bulbs. meda and rizzatto have reduced the object to two polycarbonate shells. these accomodate every technical detail: the wall clamp, the curvature of the reflecting parabolas as well as the lens prisms that both reflect and refract the light rays, the housing for the electronic components and the sealed closure between the parts. the outer shell is basically a large fresnel lens that acts as a diffuser. the inner shell integrates the reflecting parabolas with the housing system and requires no further finishing. available in two sizes and three finishes. please see individual item description for more details. UL listed and suitable for wet locations.
