1989 winner of the Compasso D'oro award, the tolomeo series by michelle de lucchi and giancarlo fassina is an extremely versatile set of lamps that allows you to choose from several different bodies and bases. these fixtures can be configured to rest on tables, attach to walls or made into a couple of floor lamp versions.
the tolomeo micro have the on/off switch on the cord.
new requirement for the state of california, which introduced title 20.
this regulation is intended to address portable lighting with incandescent sockets,
and requires the lighting manufacturer to include an energy efficient bulb within
the box of the lamps when products are shipped to california. for the best
selling tolomeo classic and tolomeo mini models, artemide will automatically include a CFL bulb with every
shipment not just to the state of california, but for the entire United States.
