this regulation is intended to address portable lighting with incandescent sockets, and requires the lighting manufacturer to include an energy efficient bulb within the box of the lamps when products are shipped to california. for the best selling tolomeo classic and tolomeo mini models, artemide will automatically include a CFL bulb with every shipment not just to the state of california, but for the entire United States.
