designed by vico magistretti in 1977 for oluce lighting of italy. featured in a number of museum collections, the atollo series features a shade that appears to almost hover in mid-air. available in 4 opaline glass versions and a lacquered metal version.

winner of the compasso d'oro, italy's highest design award, in 1979; numerous museum collections, including the philadelphia museum of art, the museum of modern art, die neue sammlung and the kunstmuseum (dusseldorf).

the atollo series may be air shipped for faster delivery time. model 235's are not UL listed.
